Multitool 2.9 Beta

Multitool 2.9 Beta

Supports different scale modes for the album cover:

– Overscale: Fill whole area, some parts may be cut off

– Underscale: Scale cover down until it fits in the area, might have blank spaces

– Stretch: Scale the image to the area, ignoring the side ratios, might be distorted (this is as it was before)

Music widget is now a paid feature, simply because I am now in college and have to care for myself. However, there is a 7-day trial and I will be handing out promo codes to Beta testers. Just send me an email at support@faendir.com with the email you used to register for beta tests.

You can sign up as beta tester here https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.faendir.lightning_launcher.multitool

Great feature. I’ve been fiddling around with cover art scale the last few days.

    Email in-bound.

I hope you do well with this!

I was unable to open the app after update.

Clearing data allowed it to open.

Unable to find a place to enter code.

7-day trial throws a “something went wrong” error.

Chris Chastain the code should be entered in the normal purchase flow.

Chris Chastain could you tell me which device you are using so I might identify which crash reports could be related to this?

Lukas Morawietz now widget has started working (my already configured one) and I haven’t enter code.

If I “add to desktop” a new one, I only get a panel with one object for title. The object is extremely narrow and only shows first 2 letters.

Chris Chastain your trial was activiated today on 20:22. Old widgets will still work but will not support the new scaling.

Lukas Morawietz if there’s anything you want me to do, I have nothing else to do right now. Damn hurricane Matthew has knocked out the power. Maybe tomorrow or Monday before all this settles out. I’m going to charge this up in the car now.

Oh yes I forgot to say that creating new widgets will not work in a10/11. I hope Pierre has this fixed in the next version. I had to revert to stable to test this. Nothing you can do in the meantime.

Lukas Morawietz thanks. That saved me a bunch fruitless pissing about.

Chris Chastain next version should fix startup issues. And has an option to update existing widgets. I expect this to only work with widgets created with the latest stable, but might also work with older ones.
