I’ve created a music “widget” with tasker for currently Poweramp and Spotify. I can share it when needed.

Can you post the download link here, or you prefer to send me it through PM?

I’m currently working on replacing tasker with scripts, I’ll share when it’s done or I notice it doesn’t work.

It would be great if you could share.

I have to postpone this. There is a feature missing in the script engine which is vital for this.

It is not possible to create a general music widget using custom views… D:  Unless Pierre add the notification access permission to LL.

Am I right Lukas Morawietz ?

Simone Boccuzzi It is theoretically possible, but it would require every single broadcast ID of every single music player existing.

Or are you interested in controlling your playback? Because that is universally possible.

For controlling playback you mean the play/pause, next and previous track buttons? I know that is possible, they are also in Gravity Box.

But a music widget require also metadata, so i need both of them.

Simone Boccuzzi Gravitybox is no indicator for normal apps as it is a xposed module.

Additionally I doubt that – even with notification access – it is possible to build a true universal widget.

So, the only chance is to integrate as broadcast ID as possible?

Simone Boccuzzi thats basically what most of the universal widgets do.
