Hi Everyone

Hi Everyone,

I have been playing with LLX for a while now and I would very much like to dive into the scripting side more. I have always used Zooper widgets for weather, alarm info, agenda etc. , but I would like to replace all these things with Lightning Launcher components.

1. Is it gonna be to heavy on battery consumption to do this?

2. If there is a good resource for learning more about using JavaScript and Android classes that you know of, PLEEEEASE post it in the comments?

Thanks in advance 🙂

  1. 1. Well scripted widget-replacements will be more battery-efficient than their widget counterparts

  2. lightninglauncher.com – templates [Lightning Launcher]

Script-only template has weather & agenda & web & news widget all done in… “Script Only”

  3. Thanks a lot for the quick response. This is really helpful. 🙂

  4. Jappie Toutenhoofd I have removed the desktops containing the weather & agenda etc you linked above, but the variables you used are still in LLX. Is there any way to remove them?

I have cleared LLX’s cache in Android and restarted and even rebooted the phone, but to no avail.

  5. Search this community for variable/binding editor. It has delete option
