I recently installed lightning launcher but when I open an application it seems that the opening animations have been disabled. I am running Fulmics 5 ROM. Any help is appreciated

Lighting has tons of options. You are going to have to play around with the app settings to setup animations, etc.
C S Thanks for the comment. I had used the launcher a long time ago and I had the same issue but I can’t remember how I resolved it. Any idea where to find those settings? I have been looking around at the settings and I couldn’t find anything
Aris Dado Long press on icon and then hit the pencil, properties, then move the popup to the side to it says misc.
C S Thanks again. I got it to work. I enabled the system launch animation.
One last question, I am running marshmallow and when I use either the stock launcher or nova launcher, the animation is different than the one when I use lightning launcher. Any idea why that may be the case?
Also, the closing animation is disabled as well
Because there different launchers there developers added those animations.
Jay M I thought that selecting the system animations would allow for the system animations to take effect though.
It should, if its not it sounds like a bug.
Jay M Maybe it is because I am using a custom ROM. Even though it is a port from the stock LG G5
