  1. To “simulate” a dock I use pinned apps at the bottom. When I scroll vertically some of the other items are some are displayed in front of and some behind of the pinned items. I want the pinned items to stay always in back- or forground.

    long press the item and on the bottom toolbar press the dpad looking icon then underneath the + button (look in top left corner on screenshot) are depth options play with them.

    i dunno about that if you long press stuff you can view some help on that item heres an example if you long press on normal background.
