I’ve moved to a new phone and the prices of apps is so laborious compared to the stock Samsung launcher
I meant the process of organizing apps is so laborious, I’m almost giving up on lightning launcher
No but you do know you can multiselect apps right? you dont have to add 1 app at a time to a folder.
updated apps do stay in folders :/ what version are you running?
I don’t know how to multi select
it’s difficult to drag drop into created folder. it goes on or under the folder too often instead of going into the folder. the animation is difficult to see when it should go in
Ok, worked out how to multi select but still difficulty to drag into folder
i dont know how the animations hard to see it start off grey and changes to purple once it changes to purple let go. When dragging items using multiselect drag from the last item you selected.

I couldn’t emulate the + Apps in My Drawer’s folder. The Apps option was greyed out. Only Folder and Page Indicator were allowable options.
I could only multi select in edit mode, then drag drop which is harder for me than the way you showed adding apps in home folder.
I accidentally Edit Label for multiple items I didn’t realise were multi selected

Lightning use to be a lot harder to use the new toolbars in edit mode make it a lot easier now IMO if you dont know what an icon does on the toolbars just long press it and you will get a toast telling you. As you can see in the screenshot i long pressed the paint brush icon on the bottom toolbar and it told me its for properties

i dont use folders in the app drawer im guessing its just not possible the app drawers very customizable but theres a few limitations, will try it but i think theres a reason for how much customizations allowed in the drawer.

yeah you have to be in edit mode, drag and drop should be easy just remember to drag from the last item you selected it works everytime for me running the latest beta.

yeah ive been there there, there is undo and redo on the toolbar though.
LL needs to warn users in such situation
i agree you should make a feature request for this. Probably better to do it in the private community instead of this 1 though.
