In the new default setup there is a really nice swipe action that brings a map or sidebar at the bottom. How to reproduce such an action. I can’t seem to find how Pierre Hébert​ did it. I can make a transparent sidebar button, that opens with a click. But how to to do it with swipe?

  1. Set swipe gesture to open folder. Is that what you wanted to know? Actual folder icon can be anywhere, even on another non-accessible page.

  2. Thanks, turning on the expert mode made me see the desktop gestures. But how to make that extra page non-accessible? And not detected by the page indicator.?

  3. Your options there depend on your setup. For instance, if you have horizontal scrolling pages on your desktop, turn off the auto scrolling direction and put it on a vertical page, or vice versa. Using the horizontal page indicator works.

    Or you could just put the invisible icon on your main page and make it unclickable (probably your best solution anyway).

  4. At the moment I have it transparent and hidden under another click-able button. But I like the idea to limit the scrolling to 1 direction. Thanks for sharing that idea.
