   I remember there was a script trick to update widgets. I don’t remember where it was… don’t use widgets myself.

   The only trick I am aware of is to restart the app, because Android will usually send a widget update at startup, but even in this case it might take some time.

   I just have a hot spot on the zooper widget set to refresh and just tap it and it updates the widget.
