I don’t know why and I don’t know if it’s a general problem, but I don’t have time to look at it before Christmas. So if this or other of my scripts don’t work on the new beta, tell me, but don’t expect a fast fix.

I cannot have it work with the current production version.
I am rebuilding 10.5.2 sources with the current Android SDK and I am not testing with the package which is available on the Play Store, so it means that APKs could be different because of build issues. Could someone confirm that it works with 10.5.2 with the package from the Play Store ?

Ok, I found the issue (well, not exactly).
10.5.2 sources built with new android tools: fails
10.6b1 sources built with old android tools: works
So I will temporarily publish an update built with old android build tools, until I can discover what the issue is with newest tools.

There is another issue: using Serializable to store persistent configuration data is unsafe because it is too tightly linked with native java objects: it may break if the update does not contain exactly the same classes.
