This is an app which manages desktop layouts, so you can easily switch between them. A layout can also be assigned to a shortcut, so you can apply any layout by e.g. a gesture. When a Layout gets applied the transition gets animated (by default).
Supported item attributes are: size,position,rotation,scale and alpha
Unsupported: Skew
This is a test version. I am not responsible for anything it causes inside of LL.
It requires the repository Importer to be installed on the device (if it is not, it gives a link)
Based on TrianguloY ‘s save layout script.

That seems great but I can’t make it work, or maybe I am missing something.When I open the app, then click on “+”, a dialog ask for a name, but as soon as I tap “ok” the app is closed (or probably the launcher is invoked instead), but when I come back to Layout manager the screen is empty again. I noticed that there is no new script installed, so maybe the issue is here. I have the latest repository importer version, tried to clear everything then retried but no luck 🙁

Lukas Morawietz for some reason it wont install from drive link download apk installer with unknown sources checked. I thought my phone crashed but did let me cancel. Stock gti9300 sgs3. Could be my phone… just thought Id pass it on anyway, will test against another apk somewhere
just tried dim background apk same issue.
Edit:Solved
download in browser and install via juice defender apk workaround… not sure why this is but end result is that which is desired

Lukas Morawietz Thanks, no its a stock rom as far as im aware – unless it is slightly modified by the mobile carrier. It had an update about a month ago and has been fine with other installs from unknown sources. Having said that this device has been ‘bugging out’ a bit over the last week or two, might jave a random virus? I’ll go and check it against my tablet (which is not tied to a carrier, but I did root).
*I noticed also with the layout manager once I got going that it was a must to detach the items for the apply layout shortcuts to function. I see its in the video demo, but I didnt notice it in the documentation/outline.
Anyway, I had a trial run last night and the Layout manager works like a charm so far, so thanks a bunch Lukas.
One feature suggest I have is to be able to folder/subfolder the layout saves so that one could have a folder per desktop and/or various tasker profiles. This would make for more rapid set up rather than scrolling through the list once more than ten or twenty layouts are achived. Not a big problem at this stage of the game for me personally but I can see down the line it would be handy for power users.
