Just trying to create a full screen widget on a desktop (10 rows, 6 columns).

Just trying to create a full screen widget on a desktop (10 rows, 6 columns). I want to use it as a picture changing content based on weather forecast. I tried a lot of settings, but none let me create a full screen widget. Any suggestions out there?

Thank you

  1. Use negative margins. Android enforces widget padding, but you can adjusts margin: by entering negative values you extend the size of the widget without actually extending the real area.

  2. Thanks for your answer, but where to put those negative margins? I’m using xwidget.

  3. Hartmut Kleeberger I think he is suggesting adjusting the margins within lightning. Like long press on your Widget, tap the pencil to edit, select properties, and then “size of the selected areas.”

  4. Brandon Cannady great it works.
