Could Pierre Hébert build a screenshot app exclusive to lightning launcher extreme? My phone isn’t compatible with the play store screenshot apps and I’m not rooting because my luck I’d brick my phone.. I would like to participate in the contest and show off my homescreens.. Would building this type of app into the extreme version as a add on possible?

Do you want to capture your screen?

Have you ever used airdroid app? If you are in wifi-zone with PC and phone, you can capture screen in your PC’s browser.

I know it doesnt require root permission.

Did you try pressing “Volume Down + Power Button”-combo? That’s the screenshot function included in newer Android versions (4.*).

Even apps cannot safely make screenshot of themselves when the wallpaper is displayed. Everything in the app window can be captured, but not the wallpaper. The wallpaper can be grabbed separately and composed with the app view, but it will appear slightly differently. Status/navigation bar are excluded. Live wallpapers can’t be captured neither. So a screen capture need to done externally, and what you need is to use ADB from a PC for this. ADB can be found either in the android sdk, or using some extracted tool that can be found on the internet

Those buttons should definitely work on a GS2 though most Samsung phones have a built in screenshot feature and its always been those 3 buttons
