   It’s hard to say, just google it, or maybe long press the 9 patch setting (below the box in the edit item screen, where it says ‘background image’)

   To start with, you can long press the setting for Backgrounds Images in LLX. After that you can Google it. There’s tons of stuff on the web. 9 patch is basically a .png image with stretchable area for text or whatever. You can make your own, or download collections… the only hard thing (well, not hard… maybe just a PITA) is that the 9 patch images must be compiled for use in LL at this time.
