To start with, you can long press the setting for Backgrounds Images in LLX. After that you can Google it. There’s tons of stuff on the web. 9 patch is basically a .png image with stretchable area for text or whatever. You can make your own, or download collections… the only hard thing (well, not hard… maybe just a PITA) is that the 9 patch images must be compiled for use in LL at this time.
