In my opinion this is not a launcher job. Use xposed bridge with gravity box for that.

This is probably possible with a script already through direct Java method invocation, but that would be somewhat dirty.

I may add this feature if someone can tell me how to do that. I had a look at this in the past but couldn’t find an obvious solution… At the moment I would prefer to avoid losing too much time on this.

Is the goal to hide the clock in all apps, or only in the launcher ?

if you have root, better option is really install xposed – http://dl.xposed.info/latest.apk

    and his modul gravity box.

In gravity you can set more, then clock. (for example buttons, power option, etc.

In xposed you can dowload many many great other modules.

Yeah, but I’m on Lollipop, so no Xposed for me…

Pierre Hébert Unfortunatelly I’m in no way programmer, so I can’t even give you any direction where to look.

Goal is to hide clock in launcher, because often there’s clock widget with additional features, and duplicating feature on statusbar isn’t aesthetically appealing IMO

Just did some research: Nova seems to do some crazy stuff no one really knows (at least on the internet). One would have to take a look at Nova sources.

I also used to hide the statusbar clock with GravityBox and Tasker when LLX was in foreground and would love to get this functionality back with Lollipop.
