When we want to add an app to the Homescreen, via the launcher (long press -> add to launcher), we can’t add folders..

Maybe a long press on a folder will give us the choice :

– add a shortcut to the folder to launcher (with same style)

– add the content of the folder to launcher

Thanks in advance!

Thats right. If im not mistaken you’re asking for the feature that allows us to add shortcuts to the folders to the home page as well as the contents of the folder so when we open it the contents are right there. Correct?

Well… I think you can. Add Shortcut “LL Action” >> “Open a folder”. This should show even the names of folders in app drawer.

EDIT: Verified, folders in “My drawer” show up.

EDIT2: It’s only the other way round. At target long press to add, not from drawer.

of course we can manually do the shortcut to a folder, but from the appdrawer, it would be great to have with a longpress on a folder, the ability to directly create a shortcut (with the same style) or add many shortcut to apps (add all apps contained in that folder)

    Is it understandable ?

This makes sense, yes. There is nevertheless a key difference between a folder and a “open folder action”. The first will allow you to move items in and out, the second not. The reason is that you are not supposed to change the app drawer content, add widgets or panels in it.

As far as widgets go there’s only one reason I see to add any widgets to the app drawer (as I said before) and even then how long does one stay in the app drawer anyway? Just go in find the app that you want and click on it right? What could you be doing otherwise…. Admiring the wallpaper with your hand?
