I want to suggest: What about an option in apps to open them with ‘clear’ flag? I mean: to open them as if they were closed, not restoring them. (I saw this feature in ‘Home button launcher’)

Why not just CLOSE them when you’re finished with them? No offence…
I’m just thinking of simple solutions, instead of adding bloat to the launcher.

I know, but sometimes you just forget to do it (a notification, turn off the screen and open another app…) I thought that it will be easy-to-code (and only a checkbox)
For example: YouTube has the ability to not update unless you restart it. This will help.
(I see your point of view, I’m trying to show you mine)

TrianguloY humm… I see what you mean regarding the flag. This is a very advanced feature but not difficult to do (the most complex thing is the UI to configure it). I believe it should be selected per app, isn’t it ? Please fill in the form so that I can remember it, maybe I could add this with other launch options such as animations. This won’t be a top priority item though.

I think that it would be better per item, in the ‘+’ section. So you can have a shortcut that opens like now, and a different shortcut that opens it with this ‘clear’ flag(or whatever)
Pierre Hébert : Sorry but I don’t know which form you said. And I don’t know where to search. Here in Google+?
