Hi, I don’t know if this is already a feature or not but it would be nice if you guys add the ability to add Side bar to App Drawer. (what I’m trying to do is, Swipe extreme left in the Desktop to go the App Drawer, I did it using Side bar, and swipe in the extreme right to go back. Kinda like Aviate Launcher)
Thanks and I really appreciate your help!

You could create your own app drawer in a desktop, and customize as you want! (panels, folders, sidebars, etc)

What +Benoît de Chezelles (bew78) suggests is the only way. There is a script to help in the repository (at least I think it will help).
What you want will never happen, unless/until Pierre Hébert changes his mind on the app drawer (hope he doesn’t!).
His theory is that the app drawer is not intended for constant use. It would slow down the launcher and consume more ram.
It’s just a place to grab apps from when designing your setup, and to occasionally get seldom used apps, (Hope I described his thoughts on this correctly) and as such, is purposely not very customizable.
I know it may be a sea change in thinking, but try it.
I seldom use my app drawer, after my setup is nailed (except on a new device).
Please help keep our launcher as lean and light as possible!

Benoît de Chezelles Lightning Launcher is the ultimate anti-iPhone app!
I just don’t get why people get an Android device and insist on making it act like an iPhone!

In addition Hichem, you can set a gesture to open your app drawer like that.

Actually you can have any sidebar you make even with widgets, I use it often. Make any regular folder or sidebar in the launcher, go to the drawer settings and go to actions/events, etc.. And use one of the 2 finger swipe gestures (in the same direction of scrolling if you use the different drawer tabs), and assign that gesture to open the folder or sidebar you made and it will work https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5fCzx364fZ4cENDQUNSNkxaWHc/view?usp=docslist_api ….thats a widget in a folder same as a sidebar with the 2 finger up swipe
