To add: enable add new option: transparent point (icon) visible only in edit mode. This point can set gestures open folder… for opening folders (sidebars). Now is only for icons, or gestures. For this poing enable set his hight and width.

As a hack, you can add a shortcut and set it to hide the icon, then set the Tap gesture to Do Nothing (to avoid launching the shortcut), giving you an ’empty’ tile to swipe over.

Yes, the shortcut solution is preferable even if it is not intuitive and seems odd, but at the moment it will be more efficient.
