Can you add new settings (different settings for portrait and landcape, only portrait, only landscape) to: desktop settings or panel settings or folder settings/items ?
For example i need set different border for landscape and different border for portrait items. (for example horizotntal and vertical dockbar).

I have the same problem when I set the items to rotate, I’d like to keep the border not rotated.

A workaround will be to put a big item around them, so it won’t rotate and the line will be always there.

I second TrianguloY solution. Not rotating borders is not possible at the moment because the box is part of the object (it follows its size, scale and rotation). As a consequence it is not possible to distinct transformations for the borders and the item.

so basically just put a music widget right there. it looks empty without one anyway

i see a way this might actually get done but it would require treating the box and the icon as seperate items so it would be like an icon overlapping another. problem is there would also need to be a way to rotate the surface item while leaving the root item alone. that looks like it would have to get 2 seperate x y z coordinance i think its called. they would conflict and still cause hell.
