Please add to general settings new option. Show symbols icon in LL Windows (yes/no).
If no, LL not show symbols for examle in window for add items, item menu, events And action, LL actions, etc. User see only texts in this Windows. Almost today status (without new add item menu).
If yes, LL show symbols (for examle icon font) Before text. (As you doing with add item menu).

From the very beginning LL been in development to optimize the speed and the requisitioning of a small amount of memory.
The more it adds, the LL will be slower and greedy.
