A have added some widget on desktop (for lock screen). I set for this widget this…
tap – (lock) do nothing
swipe left – Launch item
But widget not working. (widget is icon for LED lightning – on/off).
Where is promblem?
If not exist option for widget, (enable set different gestures tap to different option (for example swipe left)), can you create new LL action for widget (i mean tap to widget, maybe long tap on widget).

I realize it’s just an example, but I just meant that, if a given widget isn’t capable of what you need, maybe you need a different widget… Or maybe no widget, just a different approach.
In your example, it seems like the Launch Item action would be more likely to launch the settings for that widget (if indeed it does anything at all).
I guess you think I’m missing the point, but I don’t understand why use a widget that doesn’t do what you need? Seems like that is the real issue. Just my opinion, that’s all. 😉

For myself I do not need it at all. But a couple of users LL is asking me about this. They want to use the widget on the lock screen. And they do not want to run on the widget after tap. They want to simply tap function remove to move up gesture, for example.
Now this not working.
Therefore, I suggest that the events added to LL tap and long tap the widget. (simulation clicks).

It is working for me, so I guess your widget catches scroll/swipe events, or maybe is too small to detect swipes ? But fundamentally I agree with Chris Chastain .

I try different wiget, and resize widget. Never readjustment to swipe does not work. For simply shorctut yes, for widget never work.
