Now is enabled for LL wallpaper cropping rectangle. Can you please add second cropping rectangle? First for portrait layout, second for landscape layout.

This is an interesting idea. This would mean two images for the same desktop. So maybe it would be better to be able to select one image for portrait and another one for landscape.

    this is possible?

The picture will be loaded always the same, but the show would be only part according to coordinates (x,y for start, and x,y for end) (different coordinates for landcape and other coordinates for portrait layouts .. This would always be loaded only one picture, but in different variants.

But cropping is not just selecting an area, this is also removing parts outside of the rectangle. If two rectangles are selected then we need to make union of these rectangles and the resulting image is bigger (corners are lost). Since two smaller images may not be very much larger than a single bigger one (due to these lost corners), I think it would be more flexible to let the user select two distinct images.

    again about LL wallpaper…

Can you created new option? I mean this

LL wallpaper will be used for: only portrait / only landscape / both (portrait and landscape).

Trick is here… user set LL wallpaper only for landscape  (picture optimalized for landscape layout) and system wallpaper will be optimalized for portrait layout.

    or more better:

enable set LL wallpaper only one (now used)

enable set different LL wallpaper for landscape and portrait layout (with warning – this option consume most RAM).

If user select first option (only one LL wallpaper), now is visible image picker (same as now).

If user select second option (two different wallpaper), in first step need select (by image picker) picture for portrait layout, in second step select (by image picker) picture for landscpae layouts.

Yes, this is more or less what I was proposing, the possibility to select one wallpaper for portrait, and possibly another one for landscape

yes, i very well know. Day have only 24 hours, and years have only 365 days…

I would like put to desktop some picture of my wife and children.

Because I do not like deformation due to optimization for portrait or landscape layout, do not use any wallpaper. 😉

Maybe something you can try with the last beta is to use a blank item and set its background. It will be less efficient but maybe it can be enough temporarily. In latest beta background images can be larger than before.

I doing. But i have display 1920×1080. Blank item resize to comlete screen And set photo As background is terrible.

Try to rescale the image on a PC first if it is very big. Also something that may happen is that if the initial image is a bit larger than the item (only one pixel is enough) its size may be divided by two, hence soften a lot. If you use an image 1900×1070 instead of 1940×1090 the final result may be a lot better
