Would it be possible to set up a folder as an “all apps” folder?

Would it be possible to set up a folder as an “all apps” folder? I know that I could make a folder and add apps to it but each time I get a new app I would have to add it each time.

The reason for me wanting this is that it would then be possible to have a much more dynamic and movable app drawer. I had gotten use to an app that created a sidebar for all your apps that you could swipe to get. With llx this would be easily done and probably look better and take up less resources.

Actually it would take much more resources, because you would have to load all icons for all apps much more frequently. As for myself I almost never open the app drawer because I have everything needed on the desktop.

But this is not the question !

And the answer is: this is on the TODO list. But at the moment I have little time and a lot of things to do, so don’t hope too much to see it soon in LL 🙁

No worries, I’m in no rush for this feature. I too barely use the app drawer.

Pierre Hébert take it easy take it one step at a time. I must say that as of right now with the lockscreen everything is as I had hoped. yes you can still access notification tab and pull apps from there but as soon as you close the app it goes back to lockscreen. one feature I would hope to see is that the lockscreen doesn’t act as another home screen when unlocked meaning it can’t be accessed like a normal home screen would. perhaps once saved as lockscreen it moves to a setting where it would stay and you would go to the settings to access that lockscreen and edit it. I also found that NO YOU DON’T NEED TO HAVE THE STOCK LOCKSCREEN ON!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THAT. oh and the 1000 dummy shortcuts I thought I would need? nope don’t need them. of course it would mean having access to the apps associated with the widgets but who cares? when you leave the app you’re back at the lockscreen where you actually have to unlock it first. it’s perfect for me thank you. and sorry I’m late getting the extreme I had internet trouble.
