Couple quick questions.
First off has there been any thought in setting up horizontal scrolling for the app drawer instead of just vertical?
Secondly I was wondering if you have thought about implementing some of the transition effects that have been made via script in to LLX itself. Such as an option under “Current Desktop” to select a Desktop Transition. Applying a certain one would then make the On Position Change(or whatever it’s called that used for the scripts) to then no longer show up for that desktop. So basically it would be like applying it yourself but would make it very user friendly.

That would just allow it to be a plugin though right? So the customer would have to find it in the store, download, then still apply it via a menu somewhere right? I was trying to think of a way to make LLX more user friendly to help get it in more hands.

Regarding the app drawer scroll direction, this is possible to set it to “horizontal only” instead of “auto” (in scroll/zoom options), and it will work (more or less) as expected.
LLX is indeed not user friendly, and indeed I lost hope that it could become much more user friendly one day. Not that I don’t want to, but that’s out of my reach and also the essence of this app is just too complex to be made easy for everyone. I wouldn’t say it is a nothing-is-impossible-launcher but rather that this is do-whatever-you-like-with-this-launcher. A kind of do it yourself.
For the specific case of animations, I cannot take existing user scripts and inject them in the launcher so easily. This has to be done through sharing with the community. Lukas Morawietz, if you need assistance for packaging, let me know, I can help.

I’ve messed with a lot of settings in LLX and had no idea that setting the drawer to horizontal only would automatically fill the pages with the icons like that. Glad to know this launcher can still surprise me with even the little things.
