Can I discuss “Lightning Locker Plugin” here?

I have not been able to find anything dedicated to the plugin, so I will pose my question here:

Is there a way to have the lockscreen go back to the last opened app (instead of always going to the Lightning Launcher homescreen)?

This can be especially annoying if I am in the middle of doing/waiting for some app, and the screen turns off. When I turn the screen back on, it goes back to the default homescreen.

Thanks!

The plugin is integrated in the launcher now. I don’t know if there is still support for the plugin. I think your bug is fixed in the integrated version, but I’m not sure as I don’t use it.

wait, how is it integrated? If I uninstall the plugin, do I still see the “General -> Lockscreen” setting?

hmmm… maybe I was always using the built-in one and never actually used the plugin I bought 🙂

but the built-in one (general –> lockscreen) still does not seem to go back to the last opened app when it is unlocked.

It was discussed some time ago. The workaround requires Tasker and a plugin called Switchback.

Create new task and insert Switchback as an action.

Go to LL and edit the lock screen, use swipe up event and select shortcut then select the new task.

    It worked for me.

I will try to configure the same as currently I’m not using LL locker.

Do you have Android Lollipop (5.x)? Switchback is apparently broken in that.

I ALMOST got it working with another app called “LAS: Last App Switcher” but since I have a “screen lock” shortcut on my lockscreen, if you use the “screen lock” to turn off the phone, and then try to unlock with LAS, it runs “screen lock” again.

I’d call this ‘unpexpected behaviour’. Maybe Pierre will fix it when he is back.

I moved this to feature suggestion, because it is technically not a bug.

I have the standard Note 3 version of lollipop. I know with the other app LAS required I enable “Apps with access to usage data” in the OS settings, so maybe it is just a Samsung/Note/KNOX thing. There are a bunch of people in the Switchback app comments that also mention it does not work for them with a Note and Loppipop.

It is not a big deal. I can just keep using WidgetLocker as the lockscreen.

    Thanks!

Pierre Hébert probably none of my business, don’t respond is this is the case….. but… why is this still in the play-store anyway?

Jappie Toutenhoofd because it was still working for the trial and users of the free version. Now it can probably be deprecated too.
