Hi Pierre
Hi Pierre
Could you implement something about Desktop
I want to display my Work desktop when at work
My home desktop when at home
My night desktop when it’s night
Like I’m using Security Profiles
When I’m connected to Wifi “Home” my Home desktop
When connected to wifi “Work” my work desktop
When no wifi : night or Outside desktop

Lightning has no location permissions. You can use tasker for that though.

I don’t think about location but wifi network or time
]]>
< ![CDATA[
Time is possible with scripting (or possibly bindings), wifi is missing permissions too.

Lukas Morawietz could be great
Could you point me to how to set in bindings ?
]]>
< ![CDATA[
I’m not used to bindings, that why I said it may be possible.

Lukas Morawietz ok tell me how to set in script and I’ll try with bindings
]]>

Calendar.getInstance() gives you the current time.

Lukas Morawietz ok so now need to set goto desktop in bindings and conditions. Seems not possible now

For “night”, I’ve used the tasker plugin “Twilight”. It triggers a tasker task at sunrise/sunset for your location. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.terdelle.twilight

Josh Horner
Yes, tasker is definetly the easiest way to go in this task.

I currently use Tasker to switch desktop when my car Bluetooth connects and when I connect to home wifi plus others. Built following Ryoen Deprouw’s tutorials

Thank you guys
Pierre Hébert Is it possible to add this possibility directly in Lightning Launcher ? I don’t have tasker

I use e robot, alot easier and actually has a lot of stuff that Tasker doesn’t or if it does you have to have a plug in for. even Tasker does not detect an apps actual real running state as far as foreground/background visible etc. but Tasker has some pretty powerful features as well its really personal preference

Corey Spell thanks dude I’ll try e robot.

No problem, their app elixir 2 is pretty damn good to, you can pretty much do anything with both apps

Or.. if you like ‘Companion’ by Lutz Linke … you’re done.

Lutz makes some very wicked themes from what I’ve seen. Especially companion he obviously put a ton of work into that one it’s very intricate and detailed
