Maybe I just don’t understand them, but folders seem kind of dumb. Is like the to just pop up above the folder icon instead of popping to the center of the screen I’d also like a way to make the folder background square with the app previews on top (like in apex)
Also, is there a way to sort apps differently in horizontal scrolling? They are all alphabetical from to to bottom instead of left to right. It’s really hard to wrap my mind around

The folder popup location is already on the TODO list I believe. Alternatively there are ways to get folders to do both the things you have mentioned with some clever tinkering.
I have no idea how rearrange the app drawer icons in horizontal mode as you described though. Maybe its a feature in LLX? Maybe someone else will chime in on that front.
If you’d like instructions to get the folders the way you’d like let me know. Just be ready to work because these are unintended features that only work because of the way combinations of features work together.
I always tell people that LL can do nearly anything as long as you don’t mind the learning curve and you’re clever when thinking of solutions.

In LLX the apps are alwayse sorted left to right in all apps a-z app drawer. I dont believe there is an option to change this.

Just reloaded LL and checked. In LL during horizontal scrolling apps are sorted as Jacob Tramley said top to bottom. In LLX they are sorted left to right. I dont think there is I way to sort the LLX’s app drawer to look like the LL drawer. So upgrading to LLX might be something you would be interestrd in.
