Is it possible to build a child-safe desktop in the eXtreme version?
Is it possible to build a child-safe desktop in the eXtreme version? Can Lightning double as a child lock? The reason I am asking is that separate child lock apps register themselves as a secondary launcher, which causes my phone to become extremely slow for some reason. Integrated child lock in the launcher wouldn’t have this problem. Chances are high that it would have other advantages as well.
I have been exploring this topic in a blog post linked below. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

I dunno about this but I like the idea, Its got me thinking a lock desktop option would be great, Actually LLX has 5 desktops (maybe more i never tried to add more) So you could have a shortcut somewere that takes you to another desktop that is designed just for the kids.However they could still access the devices menu so this is were the Lock desktop option could come in handy, maybe for more security make it so it requires a password or something to unlock/unlock the desktop. A combination lock instead of the plain old numbers/keypad would be pretty sweet IMO.

So after reading this I got thinking and came up with this hidden desktop, Its done using 3 apps LLX,Tasker and Auto shortcut Pro here’s a video of it.

Works great except for 2 major problems
1.Pressing phones Menu brings up the menu
2.Pressing back button switches back to the default desktop.
The way i see it is the button actions are the same on each desktop, if each desktop could have different buttons then my hidden desktop would be more usefull.

Actually we can change what the menu button does with LLX but again the problem with this is it changes what it does on all desktops not just one.

Forgot to explain this, At the start you see my normal everyday desktop. Then after entering the correct code it takes me to the desktop with the MK Dragon, This is the child proof desktop and obviously the plan was to have the code screen show again whenever I wanted to leave this desktop and go back to my normal one.
