next question.  I have 5-6 folders i set up in a vertical side bar.  i got rid of the icon and enlarged the text label.  I also detached them from the grid so i can arrange the side to display all the text.  Works great.

My question is how to get them all lined up exactly one right below the next.  i can’t find where to set this.  can someone point me in the right direction??

Thanks….again!

  1. TrianguloY says:

Since you have the items detached, you will need to align them manually.

The easiest way is to enable the snap option from the editor (the third button from the left in the bottom bar) and move the items so they align.

But if you want an exact and fine tuning, open the geometry editor (fourth button) and set the size and position exactly as you want.

    🙂

  2. Easier would be:

    – Keep them ON the grid.

    – Go into edit mode of the item.

    – Go to “box”.

    – The top most option there is “horizontal alignment”.

    – Select “left”.

    – Done.
