Hi, dear Members, and dear Developer of Lightning Launcher
Hi, dear Members, and dear Developer of Lightning Launcher,
I have a small discontent, in that I cannot get a system wallpaper that is ‘natively’ scrollable – i. e., scrollable of itself, or capable being set to be scrollable in its own app – to be scrollable in Lightning Launcher. I have not had this problem with the same wallpapers in other launchers or the default launcher of my device, but only with lightning launcher. I did have a workaround some time ago, whereby I set the natively scrollable wallpaper in another launcher on the device, and then changed to Lightning Launcher, but this workaround also does not work anymore. (Please note that the this setting – ‘Lightning Launcher > Desktop > Wallpaper > Scroll the Wallpaper’ – does not remedy this issue, because it is intended for inherently static images that are set as wallpaper in a several panels wide desktop of Lightning Launcher, not for system-wide wallpapers). . . . thanks for any suggestion.

Hello!
Try to use different image viewers or wallpaper apps for setting wallpaper.
I use “QuickPic” and “Backgrounds HD” by OGQ.
Try it

Hi Nicholas,
. . . thank you so much for sparing your time to suggest a solution for me. I have gladly obliged and tried out QuickPic and Backgrounds HD (Wallpapers). However, those apps can be utilised for precisely the scenario with which I do not have the described issue, namely ‘inherently static images’, including those backgrounds that those apps themselves present for selection and such backgrounds that may be selected through those apps from internal storage.
However, the wallpapers of the apps (a) ‘Muzei Live Wallpaper’ by Roman Nurik and Ian Lake and (b) ‘Map Live Wallpaper’ by Android Labs, for example, are either (a) inherently scrollable or (b) can be set to be scrollable within their respective app. As such, when the wallpapers of those apps are set (and, in the case of ‘Map Live Wallpaper’, set as scrollable within that app), for example, in EMUI, LINE Launcher, Total Launcher, Turbo Launcher, Xperia Home, those wallpapers are scrollable on the device when those launchers are set as default launchers, but not when Lightning Launcher is set as default launcher.
I admire you for your expertise in your other posts. Please, therefore, try to consider my issue again, and let me know a fix, if you find one. . . . thanks a lot, Nicholas!
Best,
Ingo
P. S.: Perhaps you or other members could try to set Muzei Live Wallpaper or Map Live Wallpaper in Lightning Launcher and see if it is scrollable for you / them, and then tell me how you / they achieved that.
