Is there any size limit for the gifs that can be used as icons?

hello lucas..i tried to use a gif of 200kb,,and the launcher was asking me to report a bug

Also the size of the gif file itself doesn’t really matter because it will be uncompressed before to be displayed, and this can be a lot more RAM
