A new beta with the following improvements:
The new panel edit mode is now in a pretty good shape. The only situation where entering edit mode may seem strange is when the panel is scaled or rotated (but that’s understandable)
The script editor received some improvements: long tapping on suggestions will bring you to the online help, the editor will now go to the right line upon script error, it will also remember the current line as a general rule, and a few other minor things (more to come in a future version).
At last but not least, the app will now do a much better job at requesting permissions when needed on Android 6, hopefully eliminating a cause of frustration 😉

Bugs in the script editor:
Now, with every word I write there is a ‘s’ suggestion.
When long tapping any suggestion it opens a bad page, like the obfuscated one

Strange, it works as expected on 5, I will try on 4 too.

For me (android 5.0.1) it works (the editor is in the recent apps) if you open the recents menu while in it. Then you can navigate between apps and it will be there.
But when you open lighting (press home button to go to the desktop) the editor disappear from the recent apps.

It seems to me that I have seen this type of activity before.
I had come to the conclusion (without much testing) that an app, when opened by another app intent, doesn’t appear in recents… Just the original app.
