    it wasn’t a few years ago I remember the dev confirmed it but back then there wasn’t a lot of devices with fingerprint scanners. With Android 6.0 though there was official APIs released for it so I reckon it will be possible now using a script so you need to know JS.

    It also requires the USE_GINGERPRINT permission though which unfortunately the launcher doesn’t have. You said your phones rooted though so you can add the permission yourself. The app to do it is called Lightning permission manager it needs Xposed Framework installed to work read the app description.
