Dont think so but if its only a page why not just make a seperate desktop for it then use the go to specified desktop and position action which is in shirtcuts/lightning action
You can prevent scrolling using stop points barrier, or completely disable scrolling at all, and have bookmarks work, this may do the trick.
Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I don’t care if the hidden homepage is found, I just don’t want it to show up when I scrolled through the different home screens.
Another alternative would be to put your “hidden desktop” into a folder. You can put widgets or shortcuts or anything else you want in them.
I didn’t not know you can put widget into folders. There is so much I need to learn.
I think you can put anything in folders but widgets are a really good idea in folders because they aint gunna be drinking your juice all the time like they would if they were to always be displayed on your desktop.
+Jay M, I’m not sure that putting a widget in a folder will keep it from running in the foreground until the folder is opened. I have a feeling it runs just as much as any widgets that are in the home screen, but someone else may need to confirm that.
Ziyan, Lightning launcher is so flexible. If there’s something you can do on a home screen, you can do it just about anywhere. The big exception I know of is that you can’t put widgets into the app drawer because that space is more limited by design. Other than that, just try stuff and let your imagination go wild. Better yet, look at some other launchers and see if you can replicate a look or functionalty in lightning launcher. Often times you can.
The dev said something about both of those^ before but i cant remember what it was when im on my laptop il have a look for it.
If that’s the case, that would be awesome for certain widgets! Definitely let me know if you find it.
To be exact the widget is not loaded until the folder is open for the first time. From there it will be updated even when the folder is closed until the launcher is restarted.
