I am beginning to get a sense of this Launcher’s functionalities. ..how do I get rid of the grey boxes that are behind the gel icons as you can see in the side bar…

i’m confused from the looks of it your just placing gel icons on top of empty folders your sidebar folder doesn’t have anything in it.
can you show a video of this in action ?
Jay M I don’t know how to videoshot my screen. It’s an attempt. ..I’m still playing with this launcher before I finally set it up for myself…the bar on the right that has icons listed from top to bottom is a kind of side bar I am trying. .what’s annoying me is that I am unable to remove the boxes that are showing behind the circles in the icons. ..hope this helps…
can you share your template and backup there’s an option in menu/settings/lightning to do this.
You want no background colour in the sidebar, correct? Have changed the colour, in the sidebar?
Hide the folder icon. Then add icon, customize the icon. Then assign an event. When you tap that icon it opens the folder.
I’d say to delete all those empty folders in that side bar. At least that’s what it looks like.

you some how added a background image to your sidebar icons (probably added it to 1 and then copy and pasted to make more shortcuts) to remove it do this. open the sidebar and long press any icon in your side bar press the pencil icon then press properties or the paintbrush icon and then swipe throught the screens or press the button at the top your looking for a screen that says Layers Background image press that option then press the button on the top left (looks like an x) to delete the background image fom the icon. then you can use the copy style feature in the rightside Toolbar to quickly remove the background image from all the other icons.

Another question, swiping down toggles the status bar and does not show the notifications as selected in the swipe options. ..:(
And when swiping left or right of the screen, should open a side bar…that’s not happening either 🙁 is there a problem with the swipe function of this launcher?

If its a Samsung device then I have some bad news this feature doesn’t work anymore because of a change Samsung made, you will need a custom ROM to use this feature. Any launcher that has this feature will have the same problem.

If you have scrolling enabled under desktop/scroll zoom options and your swiping in the direction you would normally scroll there’s no way to know if your trying to trigger an event with a gesture or scroll the screen. If you set scrolling to none or the opposite direction it should work.

IIRC theres a workaround used in nova that requires the accessibility service to be enabled, the other launcher might also be using it. Maybe Pierre could do it azwell or maybe he already has and its gunna be available in the next version.
Jay M OK…all set up…thank you…phone feels good again. ..now…time to request Pierre to let this launcher use the Accessibility Service. ..Samsung or Android. ..I don’t care…as long as he just adds this function. ..Brilliant!
Jay M one last question. ..hopefully. ..the most used apps section inside App Drawer, how do I add/create a shortcut to it. ..?
Not sure its possible might be through script though.
