So what sort of things are you guys using the floating desktop for?
I would have used it for a custom notification panel but now I have installed a ROM there is no need for it. Not really sure what I should do with it now.

I’ve taken all the clutter from my home sccreen and am the floating desktop for my evernote widget & sortcuts to favorite apps.  I especially like being able to get quick access to my notes, which I use all  the time but don’t want to stare at when I’m not using them.

I’m using it to build myself a sort of control dashboard that will tie into all of my Tasker. It’s the perfect replacement for all the short comings that Tasker scenes has. Plus desktops are much easier to alter and change now with the new editor than Tasker scenes.
