Hello

Hello,

I have a new phone and I’m building a new screen with LLX on it and it’s nearly finished but there is one thing that I don’t know how to do, maybe somebody here may help me as i’ve seen that in many screens shared here.

What I want : have “Missed Calls” and “SMS” counters added with a small number on the top-right of my Phone and SMS icons.

What I have done

—————- – I have created a 1×1 zooper widget (i have pro version) with a text field whose value comes from a formula like (for SMS) $#SMCALLS#>0?#SMCALLS#$. The formula is working fine and the result displayed correctly. The background of the widget is fully transparent

– I have put the widget behind my icon and I can see the SMS icon and the counter => fine

But

Pb1 : When I click on the SMS icon, it’s the widget configuration screen that is opened, not the SMS application

Pb2 : The counter is not updated as I wish (at SMS event)

For the 1st problem, I don’t know what to do, any suggestion is welcomed.

For the 2nd problem, I believe that it can be easily resolved by using Tasker but I have not bought it so far and what I read of comments on Tasker is that it’s very complexed and I would prefer not spend 2 weeks only to have a small counter. So is there any other way to have my counter updated more easily ?

Thanks in advance for your good advices 🙂

    hi,

    1. i would solve this problem with position > move forewards/backwards. much more elegant.

if not working hamzas solution works good too.

    2. text content or edit text manually >  #SUSMS  #, adanced parameters > [ox]$#SUSMS#<1?2000$[/ox]

if counters are not updated correctly it’s a zooper fault.

Hamza Khan No I don’t have Tasker (I would buy it if no other option)

gerd reuter I knew that move forward/backard exists but i could not find it, i’ll try again. thanks to remind me that option.

Concerning counters updated, i’ll do testing to check how it’s doing

Question : I have put my counter widget in the back of my Phone icon. But now how may I access to the widget either to modify its content (zooper widget) or to access to its LLX sub-menu ?

Eric Le Bourvellec there used to be a trial of tasker available through the developer’s website. I don’t know if it’s still available. The desktop visualizer widget has a plugin to add a badge too.

gerd reuter A bit late, but: launch Zooper app(!) from drawer, there you can choose any widget directly to configure.

Lutz Linke thanks man it’s a better way imho : no risk to break the items positions or to remove one

a good tool, not to start every time the app-launcher, is glovebox.

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fb.glovebox

    a sidebar / sidelauncher.

i use it to have a faster access to zooper, tasker and other tools i used frequently and which i don’t want to have on the desktop.

gerd reuter Eric Le Bourvellec Similar here, but I (mis)use Power Toggles, 2 rows: 1st row for toggles, 2nd row contains essential apps like Zooper and LL shortcuts (“Edit mode” etc).
