I tried LL once but uninstall it after a few hours. I hope the New visual refresh will look like stock. I hate the app drawer and the Configuration look. It should look simple so that new users won’t be confuse.. I guess this is why Nova and Apex are popular.

Also I posted on FB page about having a folder in app drawer, but dev said App drawer is more of just an app picker. But this feature is what made me choose Nova over Apex.

Now that there are lots of Launcher being announced. One way to make the app stand out is to capture the first impression of the user.

Looking forward to the improvement!

Sorry for my English :’)

The one thing that really confused me starting out was managing the screens. Like how all of your screens are the same screen unless you have the plug in app to allow for multi screens. I spent hours trying to figure out why my multi-live wallpapers wouldn’t change walls when I swiped from screen to screen. I think this app needs a full ui interactive walkthrough for initial installs. Still to this day, the walls and screens are difficult to manage but thats me.

Nova big strength is that it never fails. There isn’t so many features but everything works flawlessly. In compraison LL biggest problem is its inherent complexity. I am aware of this but don’t expect big improvements in the next release.

The enhanced version of LL will feature an enhanced app drawer with folders and additional views. This will be a premium package though, LL classic will keep the lighter app drawer.

Ed Smith Yes, the screen management is confusing, But the first thing that I tried after installing LL is to make the app drawer look like stock. :’D

I managed to make it but there’s one problem I faced. I don’t know why there’s a hidden drawer for hidden app? Couldn’t figured out how to remove it. Also n Desktop, couldn’t figure out how to make a full stop scrolling. The only option is ‘stop point” which doesn’t make it fully stop. It’s just like a “pause”.

Pierre Hébert You’re right. I’m excited to see what the new LL can offer. I really want to make it as my daily driver (not sure bout this term).

Screens and page navigation is indeed confusing. The reason for the current scheme has some good explanation but I nevertheless intend to simplify things. Probably this will start by a simple thing : renaming ‘screen’ to ‘desktop’.

Pierre Hébert I agree. I don’t expect it to be simpler.  I just think it could be more organize.

I’ll try to use LL for the next theme. Is there a “lock” feature or a way to lock the desktop and drawer to prevent accidental editing?

Lock the layout by selecting the action ‘do nothing’ for the ‘long tap on an item’ action.

Thank you Pierre Hébert. I have a suggestion; Can you make a “full stop point”. this will allow a function to limit the scrolling. For example I want the half of this screen to be the edge. With this feature, we can mimic great designs such as Side drawer. I’m sure with this, more themer will go to LL because lots of designs will be possible.

    To make myself clearer.

    example:

I’m making a vertical scrolling homescreen.

the list of widget or apps I have only consume 1 and a half screen. The scrolling should end at half of the screen.

Also Can we disable “Pinch to Zoom in/out” when not in “edit layout mode”. I want a fully lock desktop and drawer.

Sorry for my English and if I disturb you much
