I would like to see if anyone can help me.
I would like to see if anyone can help me. I am very frustrated, I am running lightning launcher extreme on a non rooted Sony Xperia acro s. Using live wallpaper or scrolling wallpaper is fine , but every time I try to use an image without scroll when I try to exit or enter the app drawer I get these ugly flashes of black on the screen from left to right before the wall paper shows up. I am using system wallpaper. also, it doesn’t matter whether I have the wallpaper size set to 0 which is automatic or if I have it set to my phone size, it always flashes black and sometimes the wallpaper ends up way too enlarged and zoomed in. I have tried everything I have tried using the stock app to crop the wallpaper I have tried third party apps nothing seems to work. I have even tried using a different transition animation and that did not help. It almost seems like when I come in or out of the app drawer something’s trying to scroll. The other issue is if I try to use desktop wallpaper over system wallpaper I can set the values to the highest number possible and it will still only take up a middle portion of the screen and you can see the system wallpaper all around it. I never had this problem before I bought the paid version I am Not sure what to do. Someone please help

I had th black flashes when opening app draw they stopped for me when I started using quickpic to set my wallpaper, I don’t desktop wallpaper but I think it needs to be exactly screen size to cover th system wallpaper.

i create my walls always on a desktop-pc and send it to the mobile-device.
in LL the wall (singe-pgae) should be screenwidth x screenheigth – softkeyheigth. but i never had this problem you told us even not when i did it like you did.

I’ve also never experienced this issue. Just as a note, there is an app drawer wallpaper settings section, in addition to the wallpaper setting section for each desktop (I don’t see it mentioned). Try playing with those settings as well. Lastly, (after backing up your settings) try clearing the LL app data / reinstalling. If none of that helps, it’s beyond my meagre knowledge.

I think the issue is the ‘scrolling wallpaper’, try to turn it off.

Check it in the app drawer too.

How were you able to change the transition animation ? I believe the key is in the animation.

Pierre Hébert: I think she is referring to the transition between desktops, which doesn’t apply to app drawer. Am I right?

Maybe but Valerie is switching between the desktop and the app drawer, so I would have think that this is another setting

Sorry, been Mia for a while. Have reinstalled abs still having same issue. Always when entering and exiting the app drawer. Scrolling wallpaper is off and it doesn’t matter which settings I tweak in the app drawer background, it still happens. Also, if I try to set a desktop wallpaper offer the system wallpaper, it does not fit the screen. Changing the wallpaper size from automatic only seems to affect the system wallpaper in LL. The transitions work fine when scrolling through home screens. I’m not sure if there is a way to change the animation for entering/exiting the app drawer?

also, when I install the template this issue did not happen but as soon as I switch the wallpaper from the wall paper that came with the template to wallpaper I chose it happen again

How perhaps the issue is with your chosen walpaper. How large is it? And does it do this if you pick one of your phones pre installed wall papers.

It still does it if I pick a wallpaper from the phone. It Durant matter what size I use. The only way it doesn’t happen is if I use a live wallpaper. I figured out today that if I go on and check wallpaper scrolling and then uncheck it, it fixes it for some reason. Unfortunately I have to do this EVERY time I change the wallpaper which is frequently for me
