After downloading the Twitter app, the app icon does not show up.
After downloading the Twitter app, the app icon does not show up. In the past, when an app was downloaded, it would appear the the app drawer as well as the home page. That is not the case anymore. I have to go to the Google play store and open the app from there. Any idea on what is happening? I am using a Samsung S9. Thanks.

Apps in the app drawer can be missing until you press refresh.
Apps may show up on the home screen depending on your store (e.g. play store has a setting for that)
Having the same problem; sorry I posted separately above. Have tried the refresh option repeatedly and it doesn’t fix the problem. Finding the app in Play seems to be the only way to launch. Does not hold for other recently installed apps.
This has been fixed after the app update. Thank you.
