Do you have both versions of ll installed? If so, yes it is. Or do you mean an old widget is left on the desktop?

Yes the option will magically appear when such a widget is installed, otherwise it is hidden. The reason is that I deprecated these widgets, but for the moment these widgets are still working. This may change in the future.
