No battery drain here on my Samsung Galaxy Prevail. It doesn’t even show up in the top 10 list of battery hogs in the Battery Doctor app. I have a pretty simple layout though with no widgets and one screen. Maybe that helps.
[Edit]
I’m also on the beta tester version. Not sure if that might make a difference too.

are you using apps like uccw or DVR?

I dont have any active uccw or dvr widgets. But a screen full of zooper widgets. i think the one holding a picture acting like my wallpaper wich is pinned only vertical might be the one draining my battery. If thats not the one, I’ll try a quick reinstall.

The only thing I can say is that widgets are everything but light. Most probably you have some widget(s) that are refreshed too frequently. A widget that is never updated will consume much less CPU resources than a widget that updates every few seconds.

i am reconfiguring my zooper widgets. i have 3 little glowing dots in my topbar wich will light up when i have a SMS whatsapp or a missed call and more of that kind of things. But as of now. the whole widget has to be reloaded.
