Kindly apologize in case this is an open issue. Why is that swipe right and swipe left gestures were not working. I tried to run a script but not working. Tried to run the same script with double finger swipe and it’s working. So is this an issue with single finger swipe gesture.

Are you swiping on a scrollable container? If so I have already discussed the issue with Pierre Hébert and he should be working on a fix. Its basically an issue with the over scroll mechanic and the lack of event bubbling. He should be triggering the swipe event when the edge of a scrollable container is reached.

Might be because you have horizontal/vertical scrolling enabled. Check that.

James Coyle Jay M Thanks for the response friends. I have panels placed on two home pages of desktop. When I swipe to navigate between home pages I am trying to run a script. I might wait for the fix from Pierre Hébert as you people noted above. Thanks for the information friends.

Manikandan R You can set up a overscroll detector with stop points but its kinda annoying to set up and doesn’t work very smoothly. If you don’t need the panels to scroll in all directions you can try altering the scroll settings.

James Coyle I have tried to set scroll direction, but doesn’t work. In fact I don’t have any content inside the panel. Just set the background color. But two finger gesture still works. :(

There are multiple distinct things here, the swipe events handling with panels (disabled), overscroll event and scrolling transfer from panel to parent.

Regarding the swipe, if it does not work, then this means the container can scroll. Maybe you can use the “Position changed” event instead. It is triggered at a lower level and gives a finer granularity if what you need is to run some script when navigating from one page to another in a desktop.
