Really liked the idea of using llx for a lock screen and had actually finally found a solution last night and woke up to the new beta. So far it’s clearly in beta state but I’ve noticed llx seems to take a “snapshot” of the desktop you pick and put it on top to act as the lock screen. I’m having an issue with this because I was using tasker to open a folder when the screen turns on. Doing so now will open the folder up underneath the llx lock screen. Also having issues with being able to easily get it if the lock screen via long pressing home and using the notification bar to go to other apps.

The app I was using to use llx as a lock screen before was cyanx lock which had an invisible lock screen that would just be put on top of whatever was last on the screen. Not sure if taking a look at that app night help but it did the job great with disabling buttons and what not.

When I get home I’ll see about putting up a video of what I had and am trying to recreate with just llx.

I will take a look at cyanx, thanks for the hint. Regarding the home button, it cannot be disabled without some specific rom support, I don’t think the long press can be avoided (in most cases). Allowing the notification bar is wanted though. It seems to be generally available with other lockscreen. It can be locked (not on all devices but many) but maybe the best is to simply hide it.

Thx fur the quick reply. Cyanx disabled the long press on home somehow when I was running stock before I rooted my note 3. It did still allow long press of the back and option button though.

The notification bar isn’t a big deal and honestly the security risk isn’t much of an issue for me since few others touch my phone but others may be more concerned.

My main issue is the inability to let tasker open a folder on the lock screen. I should be able to make a quick demo of what I mean and post it here soon to hopefully help explain what I mean if I’m not clear.
