I’m a recent user of Lightning Launcher but, in my little experience, I like it very much for it’s flexibility and configurability.
One thing I’ve noticed:
When you swype left or right on a panel, the background of the panel flickers. The only way I’ve found to avoid this is to set the Animator Duration Scale in Developer Options to 0.0x making all the transitions less natural and abrupt. Is there a way in LL to avoid the flicker?

probably you only set ‘normal’
set ‘selected’ to the same color.
voila, no more flicker.

Edit: no, sorry. This is to avoid a circle issue (that you didn’t mentioned). The previous solution is the correct one.
