One tip for editing SCRIPT
One tip for editing SCRIPT
I’ve just found this tip.
When creating, editing, testing LLx script, its inconvienient of using phone’s soft keyboard, if a script has not a few line.
Do you use Samba Server app? First run this app.
In Script Editor app, tap “Edit…” button.
Then probably a popup will open for selecting your fav editor. In that time, LLx creates a JS file /LLfoder../tmp/script.js
In your PC, go to //your_phones_samba_name/LLx../tmp and open script.js file with your PC editor like Notepad++.
Edit and save in PC, and in your phone, open phone’s editor, then you will see just edited contents, and back to Script Editor.

I prefer to make scripts on the go (I use hackers keyboard and sometimes jota+ for indent)
But thanks for the info 🙂

TrianguloYÂ Wow I am again suprised.
I’ve been very curious about what method does the man who is the most active script user, YOU  🙂 , use in making script.
On the go! I never thought you are typing in phone/pad…
Before this tip, I used BlueStacks which is PC based Android emulator(?) where I installed LLx and others. So in most case, I did it in PC.

Hehe, thanks.
To be more exactly my method is:
Sometimes suddenly (especially at night) I get an idea. Then I spend one/two days thinking how to make it and after that I take my device and I start writing it. Of course then I need to fix a lot of things, but the main idea is there.
Also there is another thing:
Before the public release I had the 9.9.x version installed only in my tablet, it is 10.1″ and with the keyboard I mentioned it is really easy to edit text. Now I normally start a script with my mobile, but when it gets bigger I copy/paste it to the tablet and continue from there.
And this is all. 🙂

KyungJoon Lee the problem is when the ideas don’t come. But yes, I know I’m lucky.

TrianguloY + 1 for having ideas at night. I often wake up with an inspiration, grab my phone and do it immediately. I don’t need much sleep anyway.
My method tried lately: using AirDroid I connect with my PC through browser. This allows to copy and paste text via clipboard. Copy on phone, paste on PC in notepad++, edit, copy on PC, paste on phone.
