Just noticed summer the menu on the homescreens not scrollable but the menu in the app drawers scrollable when brought up with my phones menu buton, but when i bring it up using the overflow its not scrollable. Im not saying its a bug though because it makes no difference all of the options are accessible either way, im just curious why this is.

All the menus are scrollable if there isn’t space, even the menu on the homescreen.

I think that the real bug is the old one where the menu is shown in the last item you clicked. So if that item is outside the screen (because you scrolled) the menu is shrunken. But I can’t test this myself, I don’t have MENU key.

But i can only scroll the draw menu as shown in the video the homescreen menu has more items but i cant scroll that. Its just weird how its only the phones menu button what makes it scroll it could be a ROM bug i never noticed it before flashing a Kikat ROM, so it might of always been like that.

You can’t scroll, because all the items fit on the screen.

    I think I have one, but I can’t test.

    Jay M: follow this steps:

    -open the app drawer

-long press an item in the screen

    -close the pop-up menu

    -press the MENU key

Is it opened in the item or at the bottom of the screen?

Pierre Hébert if you watch closely, the menu in the app drawer don’t have the bottom arrow. This is because it’s opened under the screen, so even though the menu has the size to fit all items, the bottom part is not visible so it becomes scrollable

That’s a good point, but in theory it should not be scrollable even if the bottom edge is below the bottom of the screen.

But I admit that if it is displayed under the bottom of the screen, then something is obviously wrong and the problem is surely linked with this 🙂

It opens at the bottom of the screen, i think its a kitkat bug could also be because i changed my dpi, l will change it to stock density and see if it still happens.

Definately not because of the dpi its on stock now and it still scrolls.
