Stop points.

Stop points.

Im trying to make a drawer that slides out from the left side of my screen. But not that simple, I want it the same as the one in Gplay G+ etc, were it only slides out if I swipe from the left edge of my screen. To do this I thought I could use stop points to make certain parts of my screen swipable and leave the rest untouched but there so confusing. Is this even possible and can anyone help me set it up. If your confused reading this just load up G+ or GPlay and checkout the drawer in them apps this is exactly what I want cheers lads and lasses.

can’t you make the drawer from a folder? Set animation slide from left.

    What you can do is:

Place a full screen panel at the home page, this will be the normal desktop. Pin it.

Place an invisible, full-tall and short width at the left of the screen.

Place the drawer panel at the left.

So: you can use the main panel as usual, the scrolling will act on the panel. But when you scroll from the left part, from the item, the desktop will scroll instead, and you will see the drawer. Just don’t let the drawer scroll horizontally, so you could close it.

I don’t get why the folders don’t satisfy your requirements.

    I mean:

Full height (from top to bottom)

Very tiny width, I don’t know, maybe 10% of the screen width.

Put it at the left of the screen, outside the panel, above the panel.

Now, scrolling from that item will move the desktop, to show the drawer. The only thing is that you won’t be able to scroll up/down the panel from that item.

Only downside to the folder is no matter what I do there’s a gap around the edge.

Jay M you don’t do enough then.

You can position the folder anywhere.

I did its set to a custom horizontal position of 0 but it seems the folder has a border that can’t be removed, I can change the box/content color to blend it in but the results not great.

So you are saying thet setting horizontal alignment to left and setting left margin to 0 will still give you a space between the left border of the screen and the folder? It does not happen on my device. I use the same layout.
