I have been using Lightning launcher for a week now and have to say it’s awesome. I have been tweaking with it, watching other videos on YouTube on different layouts, panels, folders. …
Now I came across one video on YouTube, I will post the link below. This guy came up with a swype gesture on the desktop which then shows up a panel, would anyone please show how its done. I will suggest you see that video. I am trying to work it out for the past few days but to avail. I tried to email the person who posted the video but no luck. Your suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Adding widgets is a nightmare, its hit or miss, they either don’t stay were there put of fly off into oblivion never to be seen again, liked this launcher for the panel function, but because of this terrible problem with widgets and panels will have to go back to total launcher which is a lot more stable.

I am trying to put “emblems” on top of my desktop icons.
The reason being that my “icons” are big book-covers and i would like to add a audio-emblem to those where i also have the audiobook.
I played around with the layer options but it seems i can not resize those.
If you look at the screenshot, i would like to have the white icon on top of the book resized and re-positioned. Is something like this possible?

Is there any way to do the foggy glass background that KLWP can do? I really love the look of it for backgrounds of folders. Is this something that would be remotely possible to develop or do with scripting?

I have been playing with LLX for a while now and I would very much like to dive into the scripting side more. I have always used Zooper widgets for weather, alarm info, agenda etc. , but I would like to replace all these things with Lightning Launcher components.
1. Is it gonna be to heavy on battery consumption to do this?
2. If there is a good resource for learning more about using JavaScript and Android classes that you know of, PLEEEEASE post it in the comments?

I’d use diagonal scrolling but it is too easy to accidentally scroll diagonally.
I’d use diagonal scrolling but it is too easy to accidentally scroll diagonally. To scroll right or left when it is enabled, your swipe had to be very close to exactly level. If the angle is off at all it scrolls diagonally. I do not understand why you would implement it with such a strong bias for diagonal. I would think an even division of the compass would be the way to go… + or – 22.5 degrees from straight right should scroll right. + or – 22.5 degrees from the straight 45 degree diagonal should scroll diagonal. Or is there something phone-specific affecting the angle detection?

I’ve used Nova prime for 2 years.
I’ve used Nova prime for 2 years… Been using lighting launcher sence las night and I’M definitely impressed…. Once I get past the learning curve it’ll for sure be my primary….. Only down side no real tutorials that I’ve found… But I’ll learn my way around

Hey guys, so I finally took the time to replicate my Nova setup in LL, as an easy introduction. I’ve still a lot to discover but at least I can start using LL as my daily driver. One question: how would I implement haptic feedback (vibration) when tapping an icon on the desktop? Thanks!
