Now, with the delay to put an item inside a folder, I think you ( Pierre Hébert) should consider this suggestion, as it maybe will seems a bit odd to basic users…but remember, what I say needs to be discussed 😉

The solution will be very easy, or very hard depending of how android work:

When you put an item above a folder, the drop feature is only show when the center of the item is inside the folder’s item box.

If you are moving a big item (like a widget) from one side, a basic user will try to put the item in the folder placing the finger above the folder, so it won’t work.

To sum up: suggestion:

When calculating the position of an item and check if it’s above a folder or not, use as a reference the position of the pressed point (the center the object + the relative click inside the object…more or less), instead of the center of the object (the actual reference)

Buf, what a long post for a short suggestion.

I just started using this launcher.

I just started using this launcher. While designing a UI , I have placed a widget at the very bottom of the screen. There is a small gap between the bottom of the widget and the bottom edge of the screen. I know in other launchers this is resolvable by adjusting the grid size. Is this also a solution for Lightning Launcher? Does anyone have any suggestions or preferences ? Thanks in advance .

Is there a way to have the app drawer open from a different side?

Is there a way to have the app drawer open from a different side? Right now it seems to open from the right edge and I’d like it to open from the bottom.

If not currently possible then I’ll make it a feature request.

The ‘pinch zoom’ is a feature that in some cases you don’t want to have in your screen. So you can disable it in the settings. Ok, all fine.

The problem is that while you are editing that screen in free mode you sometimes want to ‘zoom’ (in my case, to be more accurate).

So my suggestion is to let users (with an option in general settings or something) to allow to zoom in edit mode, even if in normal mode you choose not.

Now, the only way to do this (and in need to do it every time) is to allow pinch, edit, disallow pinch.

And you? Do you think is a good idea?

Hi at all

Hi at all,

i have a suggestion, not a feature suggestion, it’s for the community or in particular for pierre and his work. he’s is doing a really outstanding and enthusiastic “job” for LL and for all the people which are (hopefully) glad about this excellent Launcher.

in my opinion the 2,49€ (here in germany for LLX) it’s more than only worth the money!

I would like to have the opportunity to donate something.

It is possible to add a Donate Button/Option/Link here?

It would be on a voluntary basis and no need!

What do YOU think about it?

Any chance of getting screen transitions like other launchers? A unwrap transition or book page would be great vertically and horizontal
